Do you serve food? Can we bring food into the club?

No we do not have a kitchen or food but we've got one of the best stocked vending machines in the country. If you'd like more than sunchips, gum and a pack of smokes, we have 8 restaurants within 100 yards ranging in price from $5 to $50. Any of the staff will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Also, feel free to bring in your own dinner and enjoy while waiting for the show to begin.

I'm not a member, do I need to join before I come to the show?

The best thing you can do is go to our membership page, print out a membership form, fill it out and show up with a one dollar bill attached to it for the doorman. He will take the application and next time you return you can legally pick up your membership card.

What does a membership get me? Do i get to go to the front of the line? Do i get in for free?

A membership simply allows you to legally enter the club "by NC law".

My sixteen year old daughter wants to come to the show with me, is that alright?

We will always let in underage patrons who are accompanied by a parent or parents. There will be a $5 surcharge at the door (Yes, even if you bought a ticket in advance).

Can you hold me a ticket?

The Pour House Music Hall does not have paper tickets. We do our advanced tickets thru a will call list. You simply show up with a valid photo i.d. and we check your name against our will call list. therefore, it is not necessary for us to hold a ticket for you. We can't put you on the will call list though unless you have actually paid in advance.  All advance ticket sales end at 4pm the day of the show.  If you call at 6pm and want to buy tickets we will not be able to do this. The best thing to do at that point is to plan on arriving as close to door time as you possibly can.

Are you guys sold out?

To be honest, we very very rarely "sell out". We have such low ticket prices and such high turnover that people come in and out all night long. What we mean is they will pay the cover and come in for a couple beers and then bar hop to another spot. On occasion we will go to a "one out and one in" situation. Even when this happens you will not have to wait very long to get into the show. However, if you are underage and trying to get into a show that is almost sold out we can't let you into the show.

Can i come by, pay for the show, then go somewhere else for a little while and come back later?

Yes, but if the show is "sold out" when you get back you are not guaranteed of getting in the door. Only the people who pay and come directly in are guaranteed to get in. We would not recommend this method to anyone. Pay and get your butt in there to get a drink!!

I'm supposed to be on the guestlist...

If you are supposed to be on a guestlist, be sure you know the name of the person who has put you on the list. It is also a good idea to confirm with that person that you are on the list 24 hours before the show. Valid ID is always required at The Pour House Music Hall, and it is essential when you are arriving to get in with advance tickets for the will call list. We are not responsible for mistakes made by band members, radio stations, or other promotional groups.

Will you call me a taxi?

Absolutely! Ask anyone working that night and we will make it our first priority.

What time do I need to arrive to get a seat?

When the doors open! We only have about 40 actual seats so if you get here early you might be lucky enough to get one of those seats. Our shows are basically standing room only. The 40 seats mentioned are couch seats and high tables with a few chairs sitting around each.
