It's great ~ fantastic even! Lots of pages done on Excel with print media, radio stations, radio shows, online website links, instrument stores, & record stores - EVERYTHING a band needs to properly promote their show. There's even a page with all of the info for the hotels that we get discounts. So get on it...write Eric and get a copy.
We like to get at least 15+ posters for each show.  As soon as we get your posters, we hang them at the club. We also have a very small street team that frequents the local hot spots with posters.  If you get us enough posters we promise to try and get them around town.
If you are a local band, we'll be looking to make sure you have your posters stapled to every telephone pole along Hillsborough Street, Peace Street, and Glenwood Avenue PLUS handbills in every record shop, grocery store and restaurant. It's your show so promote the shit out of it.  Go to myspace and send out an event bulletin.  Invite all of your friends. Promise to kiss all the girls.  We don't care what you do, but PROMOTE your show.  We are a destination bar.  If no one shows up, there is no one to blame but yourselves.  We do our part for all 30+ shows per month we put on.

Another great resource that sometime gets overlooked is your email blasts.  We have polled our crowds and it seems over half the audience found out about the shows thru either the bands website or the email blasts that they sent them thru their website.  This is a free (for the most part) resource and needs to be taken advantage of.  We will be signing up for your email list and expect to see at least one if not multiple email blasts promoting your upcoming show at The Pour House Music Hall.  If for some reason you are not able to send out an email blast please let us know and we will create one for you.  We send out an email postcard every Wednesday with all of our shows listed.  If you'd like to see a copy, feel free to sign up for our email list as well.

Please check out site after you have sent in all the necessary info regarding your show.  We want to make sure everything is listed correctly.  If you see an error or want to add/delete something, please don't be afraid to ask.  We edit the site in-house so it only takes a few minutes.
